CNC LASER CUTTING
Laser cutting focuses a laser beam at a single point to melt the material and form programmed shapes. It is used on metals such as iron, steel, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum.
METAL BENDING
Metal bending forms a flat sheet into the required angle. The sheet is placed between punch and die; vertical force at the midpoint between the two die edges creates a straight bend line to spec.

What is CNC laser cutting?
CNC laser cutting uses a computer-controlled, focused laser beam to melt and blow away metal along a programmed path. It produces a narrow kerf and a clean edge, and is used on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and galvanized sheet.
What thickness can laser cutting handle?
Cutting thickness depends on the laser source power and the material. At Kim Phát, our 6 kW fiber laser cuts carbon steel up to 30 mm on a 6000 x 1500 mm bed, and two 3 kW machines cover thin to medium sheet on a 3000 x 1500 mm bed. Stainless steel and aluminum cut thinner than carbon steel at the same power.
What tolerance can CNC laser cutting achieve?
Our machines hold ± 0.02 mm positioning repeatability and ± 0.05 mm bed accuracy. Tolerance on the finished part also depends on material thickness, sheet flatness, and heat distortion, so thicker plates typically show wider real-world tolerance than the machine spec alone.
Can you laser cut square and round tubes?
Yes. Kim Phát runs a dedicated 3D tube laser cutter for round tube from Ø10 to Ø120 mm, up to 6250 mm long. It also handles square tube, angle steel, U-channel, and I-beam sections.
What file do I need to send for a quote?
A CAD or DXF file is fastest since the machine reads the profile directly. If you only have a PDF drawing or a photo of one, Kim Phát can still rebuild the cutting file. Include material, thickness, quantity, and your timeline for an accurate quote on the first pass.
Do you accept small quantities or one-off parts?
Yes. Kim Phát takes single pieces, prototypes, and full production runs. Prototype turnaround is usually short since laser cutting needs no tooling or dies, unlike stamping.
Where is the Kim Phát workshop and which areas do you serve?
The workshop is at 1783 Doc Lap Street, Tan Phuoc ward (formerly Phu My), Ba Ria - Vung Tau, now part of Ho Chi Minh City. Kim Phát serves factories in Phu My and My Xuan industrial parks, the Cai Mep - Thi Vai port cluster, Tan Thanh, Chau Pha, Ba Ria, Vung Tau, and further along QL51 toward Long Thanh and Nhon Trach.
